Under the buyback mandate, the company is authorised to repurchase up to 596.45 million shares. Following the 14 July purchase, 482.62 million shares, or about 80.9% of the authorised limit, remain available for potential future repurchases.

China Starch’s issued share capital stood unchanged at 5.96 billion shares as of 14 July 2026 because the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. The moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares will run through 13 August 2026, in accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a).
