The event established a platform for dialogue and inheritance between seasoned and emerging business leaders, featuring mentor pairings, research collaborations, industrial chain cooperation agreements, and a showcase of standout tech enterprises. It also unveiled a five-pronged empowerment plan designed to unite younger entrepreneurs in embracing the wave of artificial intelligence.
Linping's private economy is deeply rooted, home to three industry clusters each exceeding one hundred billion yuan in output value. At the scene, the "Young Eagles Taking Flight" dual-mentorship pairing ceremony took place, selecting leading entrepreneurs from the high-end equipment, biomedicine, and fashion sectors to act as mentors. These mentors, using a one-to-many model, will guide next-generation entrepreneurs, officially kickstarting the succession process.
During the cooperation signing segment, the Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute of Zhejiang University, the Service-Oriented Manufacturing Research Institute, and the Hangzhou Institute for Photonics and Intelligent Sensing each inked research collaborations with multiple companies. Additionally, several leading chain enterprises partnered with tech startups, smoothing the path from research to practical application and strengthening, supplementing, and extending the industrial chain.
In response to Hangzhou's "296X" advanced manufacturing cluster development goals, Linping is encouraging its new wave of entrepreneurs to carry on the legacy, pursue iterative innovation, and proactively embrace AI transformation. The focus is on seizing opportunities in frontier technologies like embodied intelligence, and actively building industry clusters for embodied-intelligent robots and other smart terminals.
A major highlight was the release of the "New Sprouts Top Ten" list for ten early-stage startups and the "Peak Chasers Top Ten" list for ten growth-stage enterprises, all slated for key cultivation. These companies, distinguished by their formidable tech barriers, robust growth potential, and broad market applications, are considered vital breakthroughs for Linping's advancement in embodied intelligence and other cutting-edge sectors.
The Zhejiang Sci-Tech Financial Innovation Service Center, a key provincial-level resource platform, launched the five-part empowerment initiative for next-gen entrepreneurs. This plan delivers comprehensive, lifecycle services across funding, talent, resources, publicity, and succession, including linking enterprises with investment funds, top research minds, and both domestic and international industrial and policy networks.
In the keynote lecture, Zhu Shiqiang, Vice Chairman of the Development Committee and Dean of the Robotics Institute at Zhejiang University, shared insights on artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, and commercialization pathways. He detailed the core architecture of "boundless brain" robots, offering the attending younger entrepreneurs a broader technological perspective.
