Pangaea Connect has announced that due to the rapid global expansion of the AI market and the robust demand for advanced optical connectivity solutions, the group has recently secured a substantial volume of sales contracts. As of the date of this announcement, the total value of all sales contracts in hand has exceeded $1 billion.
The majority of these sales orders originate from global manufacturers, with specific details having been disclosed in previous business updates. These contracts primarily involve 200Gb/s Indium Phosphide (InP) photodiodes. Their applications include 800G/1.6T transceivers for AI data centers and next-generation AI infrastructure.
This significant order growth reflects the enduring confidence of industry-leading global manufacturers in the group's operational performance, technical capabilities, and product quality, thereby solidifying its market position. This operational milestone is fully consistent with the performance and strategic trends outlined in the full-year results announcement.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company achieved a steady revenue growth of 4.8%, reaching HK$2.23 billion, despite an increasingly fragmented market landscape. Specifically, the group has prioritized focus on AI-related areas, such as photodiode products embedded in Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and industrial laser solutions with 1.6T and 3.2T capabilities. This directly responds to the global trend of AI data center expansion, driving demand for advanced optical connectivity and precision processing technologies.
The board believes these sales contracts will strengthen the group's position within the AI data center ecosystem. They are expected to deliver long-term benefits by securing high-growth revenue sources within the supply chains of global technology leaders and propelling commercial momentum through 2027.
Looking ahead, the group remains committed to consolidating its strategic position in high-growth, AI-related fields, particularly high-performance AI data infrastructure, advanced semiconductor laser processing, and early-stage WiFi 8 deployment. To effectively support this growth momentum and meet evolving market demands, the company will continue to optimize resource allocation across sales, engineering, finance, and logistics operations. This strategy aims to enhance international brand recognition, drive technological advancement, and create maximum long-term investment returns for its shareholders.
