Guizhou Province recently held its inaugural series of promotional events focused on cultivating and opening up artificial intelligence application scenarios at the Guizhou Big Data Application Exhibition Center.

The event, organized by the Guizhou Artificial Intelligence Application Promotion Center, is designed to fully implement the national "AI+" strategic deployment, accelerate the cultivation and opening of AI scenarios within the province, and establish a new framework for innovative AI industry development.

A provincial government official stated that application scenarios are the core vehicle for AI technology to take root and evolve iteratively. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the province's development of AI will focus on strategic priorities, aiming to solidify its core national role in supplying computing power and data, and being a pioneer in application. It will pursue a collaborative technological development model described as "R&D in the East, application in Guizhou."

An official from the Guiyang municipal government noted that the Gui'an New Area, as the core zone of China's first national big data comprehensive pilot zone, is deeply implementing the "AI+" initiative, vigorously promoting the large-scale application of AI technology, and actively advancing innovation in commercial, governmental, and civilian usage scenarios.

The event provided a systematic interpretation of the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Cultivation and Opening of Artificial Intelligence Application Scenarios in Guizhou Province." This plan, led by the Guizhou Provincial Big Data Development Administration and jointly formulated with 28 provincial departments, targets the opening of 1,000 application scenarios by 2028. The goal is to comprehensively cultivate and open distinctive Guizhou scenarios, providing more testing grounds for enterprises pioneering AI applications in the province.

Officials from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Transport, and the Big Data Bureau of Qiandongnan Prefecture provided key interpretations on how to advance scenario cultivation and opening within their respective sectors and regions.

Representatives from the Guizhou Artificial Intelligence Application Promotion Center detailed the development status of the "Four Lists" for AI application scenario cultivation and opening.

Professor Zhou Aoying from East China Normal University delivered a keynote speech on "An Integrated Approach to AI Research and Development." Representatives from enterprises such as the Phosphating Group and Wushui Yuntai Company shared their solutions based on their own development and products.

During the event, project signing ceremonies were held. Guizhou Minzu University partnered with Global Tone Communication Technology, the Guizhou Provincial Transportation Planning Survey and Design Institute collaborated with Whale Cloud Computing Technology, and Guizhou Aerospace Cloud Network joined forces with Guizhou Lanmeng Workshop Technology. These collaborations focus on intelligent applications in areas including ethnic minority languages, transportation infrastructure, and financial taxation.
