LEGENDHOLDING (03396) rose over 4% before the midday break. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.21% to HKD 10.39, with a turnover of HKD 41.82 million.

The increase follows an announcement from the company. LEGENDHOLDING and the ATLATL Innovation Center have jointly launched a new model for a "biopharmaceutical virtual incubator in the AI era." The announcement was made at the recent ChinaBio Biopharmaceutical Industry International Cooperation Conference in Shanghai. The partners also discussed accelerating its implementation through a global BioTech hackathon format.

This initiative signifies a joint commitment to building an AI+Biotech innovation and empowerment system. The goal is to transform biopharmaceutical entrepreneurship from a model characterized by "heavy assets, long cycles, and high risk" to one that is "lighter, more efficient, and has a lower barrier to entry." This aims to help cutting-edge innovations move rapidly from concept to product.

Ji Chaofeng, Assistant President of LEGENDHOLDING, noted that the deep integration of AI technology is significantly improving efficiency in key areas such as target discovery, molecular design, and preclinical research, providing crucial support for industry transformation.

LEGENDHOLDING has been deeply involved in the healthcare sector for many years, having invested in a cumulative total of 110 companies. Its investments cover the entire industry chain, including innovative drug R&D, medical device manufacturing, and healthcare service implementation. However, high-quality resources across the upstream and downstream segments still lack an effective platform for integration.
