On September 23, in the afternoon, CREALITY's new multi-color 3D printer, the SPARKX i8, officially debuted on Indiegogo, one of the world's largest tech crowdfunding platforms. The project surpassed $1 million in funding within just 40 minutes of going live, and by the end of the first day, it had raised over $1.9 million with more than 5,000 supporters, setting a new all-time record for the 3D printer category on Indiegogo.
The SPARKX i8 features CREALITY's proprietary QuarTeks™ four-channel extrusion system, which integrates four independent melting channels into a single toolhead. This design allows four filaments to reach the nozzle directly, enabling four-color printing with a single nozzle and eliminating the need for an external multi-color feeding system. Color changes are executed by switching channels within the toolhead, avoiding long-distance filament loading and retraction, with swap times under one second. In tests with four-color models, multi-color printing efficiency can improve by up to 500% or more compared to traditional methods.
QuarTeks™ shortens the common end of the four filament paths to less than 1mm, structurally reducing color residue and minimizing the need to purge old colors with large amounts of filament during each change. Combined with slicing algorithms, most necessary purges can be integrated into the internal infill of the model, achieving zero external waste and eliminating the need for a purge tower when internal purge conditions are met.
Additionally, the SPARKX i8 offers a build volume of 260x260x255mm, a maximum printing speed of 500mm/s, and operates at a noise level as low as 45dB. Thirteen smart sensors and an AI camera support features such as spaghetti detection and empty-run alerts, helping users identify printing anomalies promptly.
In content generation, CREALITY Cloud's MakeNow integrates Tencent's Hunyuan large model. The platform currently hosts multiple AI tools, including CubeMe, MagicRelief, SnapForm, and SignForge, covering creative scenarios like chibi figures, relief art, photo keepsakes, and personalized signs. Users can upload photos to generate 3D models, streamlining complex modeling workflows into a simple process: "upload an image or input an idea—AI generates a 3D model—cloud slicing—one-click printing," significantly lowering the barrier to creation.
For users with 3D printing farms or commercial needs, CREALITY Cloud provides licensed commercial models, AI creation tools, and cloud-based services. According to CREALITY's interim performance report for 2026, new registered users on CREALITY Cloud grew 77.1% year-over-year in the first half, active creators increased by 94.3%, and the number of new public models rose by 137.6%. As of June, usage of related AI applications grew 85.6% compared to January.
CREALITY has built a comprehensive product ecosystem encompassing FFF and resin 3D printers, 3D scanners, laser engravers, filaments and accessories, and a cloud platform. Since its founding in 2014, the company has continuously advanced its "AI + ecosystem" strategy. In terms of new products and technological breakthroughs, the upcoming flagship K3 model features the proprietary KliTek™ multi-nozzle technology, which significantly reduces filament waste and improves printing accuracy. Combined with the S-Drive™ dual-power feeding system, the K3 can stably print a variety of TPU flexible materials ranging from 80A to 95A, enabling multi-color and multi-material printing in a single integrated process.
