The aggressive acquisition and investment push led by Jensen Huang shows no signs of slowing down, as NVIDIA has secured a minority stake in Cloverleaf Infrastructure, a company dedicated to securing land and power for data centers across the United States.

This marks NVIDIA's third equity investment in a short span, all targeting firms that ensure adequate electricity and site readiness for data centers. The strategic move is designed to lock in critical infrastructure ahead of rivals, guaranteeing that its full suite of AI hardware can be deployed without delays caused by unprepared facilities or idle chips waiting for power.

At the same time, NVIDIA is leading the charge to orchestrate a multi-billion dollar funding round for Perplexity, a company transitioning from an AI search engine into a broader AI agent service provider. Perplexity has experienced explosive revenue growth this year, making it an attractive target for investment.

This deal further underscores NVIDIA's emerging role as the "central bank" of the AI industry, given the sector's overwhelming reliance on its hardware and computing power to fuel innovation and scale.
