HANG LUNG PPT (00101) rebounded by more than 4% today. As of press time, it was trading 3.7% higher at HK$7.56, with a turnover of HK$36.5279 million.

On the news front, HANG LUNG PPT recently announced its 2026 interim results. According to CICC, the company's property leasing revenue for the first half of 2026 increased by 5% year-on-year to HK$4.92 billion, while operating profit rose by 4% to HK$3.47 billion, in line with expectations. However, due to a HK$120 million impairment provision on property sales, the overall underlying net profit attributable to shareholders declined by 10% year-on-year to HK$1.44 billion, slightly below projections. The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.12 per share, unchanged from the same period last year, which met market expectations.

CICC added that benefiting from ongoing proactive brand mix adjustments, improvements in project operational quality, market share concentration among top players, and a strong gold trend early in the year, the company's mainland China mall retail sales grew by 17% year-on-year in the first half, with renminbi-denominated rents rising by 6%. Management guided during the results briefing that retail sales targets for the second half are expected to achieve high single-digit year-on-year growth. CICC believes this guidance is achievable given the current market environment and the company's adjustment trends, while rental growth is expected to continue lagging behind retail sales growth.
