Following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, BYD ELECTRONIC (00285) has announced changes to its board composition. Mr. Zhong Guowu and Mr. Qian Jingjie have retired from their positions as Independent Non-Executive Directors and have consequently stepped down from their roles on the company's Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee, and Nomination Committee.

Effective from the close of the Annual General Meeting, Ms. Rong Xiuli and Mr. Cao Yushan have been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Directors to fill the vacancies.

Concurrently, Ms. Rong Xiuli has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Remuneration Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee, the Nomination Committee, and the Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee. Mr. Cao Yushan has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee. These appointments are also effective from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.
