Yingtan Rural Commercial Bank Fined 1.34 Million Yuan for Regulatory Breaches

On February 28, the Yingtan City branch of the People's Bank of China issued an administrative penalty notice. Yingtan Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. was warned and fined a total of 1.3373 million yuan for multiple violations. The listed infractions include: 1. Non-compliance with financial statistics regulations; 2. Breaches of payment and settlement business rules; 3. Violations of financial technology management regulations; 4. Failure to adhere to counterfeit currency business management rules; 5. Misappropriation of fiscal deposits or funds; 6. Infractions concerning the collection, provision, and inquiry of credit information and related management; 7. Non-compliance with anti-money laundering business regulations.

Additionally, individuals held responsible for the bank's violations related to credit information management were also penalized. Wan Moupeng (former Deputy General Manager of the Credit Management Department) and Ni Mou (former staff member of the Credit Management Department) were each fined 10,200 yuan. Zhou Mou (former President of Sili Sub-branch), Zhou Mou (former President of Zhoufang Sub-branch), Xia Mou (former Assistant President of Zhoufang Sub-branch), and Bi Mou (former Account Manager at Liukou Sub-branch) were each fined 10,100 yuan.
