ETC service outlets across Heilongjiang will suspend operations during the National Day holiday and resume normal business on October 8, according to an announcement released on the 28th.
During the 2026 National Day holiday, which runs from October 1 to October 7, toll roads will offer free passage to small passenger vehicles.
Under the arrangement, all toll roads, including airport expressways, toll bridges, and tunnels, will waive fees for small passenger vehicles from 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7.
The free passage applies to passenger vehicles with seven seats or fewer, including motorcycles permitted to travel on ordinary toll roads.
The cutoff for free highway passage is 24:00 on October 7, determined by the time a vehicle exits the toll lane at the exit.
Vehicles that enter the highway during a non-free period but exit during the free period will still travel free of charge.
However, vehicles that enter the highway during the free period but exit after the free period ends will not qualify for free passage.
According to the Heilongjiang ETC announcement, ETC outlets in the province will suspend business from October 1 to October 7 and resume normal operations on October 8, which falls on a Thursday.
