Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed that it repurchased 990,000 ordinary shares on 22 June 2026 through on-market transactions at prices ranging from HK$6.62 to HK$6.72. The outlay totaled HK$6.60 million, implying an average cost of HK$6.67 per share.

Following this latest transaction, the company has bought back 8.27 million shares since the 28 May 2026 mandate took effect. The cumulative volume equals 0.10% of the 8.66 billion shares outstanding on the mandate date, leaving authority to repurchase up to a further 857.61 million shares under the 10% limit.

All shares acquired are designated for cancellation; once completed, the total issued share capital will reduce accordingly. Until 22 July 2026, Kunlun Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or dealing in any treasury shares, in line with Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a).

Historical transaction data show that the company has executed 30 separate buyback tranches between 25 March and 22 June 2026, with daily volumes ranging from 60,000 to 990,000 shares and prices declining from HK$7.61 in late March to the latest HK$6.62–6.72 band. This reflects an approximate 11%–13% decrease from the early programme highs.

The company’s issued share count stood unchanged at 8.66 billion as of 22 June 2026, as the repurchased shares await formal cancellation. Kunlun Energy’s share repurchase activity continues to progress under the current mandate, with room for significant additional buybacks before the authorization’s limit is reached.
