NUMANS (HKG: 02530) has announced the launch of new DHA algal oil products as part of its portfolio expansion.

High-End Series — Children's DHA Algal Oil

The company has introduced a new product named "NUMANS® DHA Algal Oil (Containing Nervonic Acid)". This is an extension of the group's existing DHA algal oil line, formulated using DHA raw materials sourced from DSM, an internationally recognized nutritional ingredient supplier for the group's current products. The product targets children aged 6 to 16, extending the group's existing premium brand positioning into the school-age children segment.

Mid-Market Series — DHA Algal Oil with European-Imported Materials

The group has also launched a new series named "European Edition NUMANS® DHA Algal Oil", produced using raw materials imported from Europe. This series is positioned at a lower retail price point for the mid-market, aiming to address China's evolving consumption patterns and increasingly price-conscious consumer sentiment. The series covers pregnant women, infants, and school-age children.

All these new products are now available for purchase on the group's major online e-commerce platforms, covering general trade (import) and cross-border e-commerce models, as well as through the group's offline distribution channels.

The board believes the launch of these new products expands the group's product portfolio and customer base, extending its reach to a broader range of age groups and price points. The new product launches are still in their early stages, and their commercial performance will be influenced by factors including market acceptance, consumer demand, and competition. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the new products will achieve expected sales or make a significant contribution to the group's financial performance.
