Lishui Airport has just introduced promotional flight fares for travelers. The special offer, rolled out by China Express Airlines, includes round-trip tickets to Zhengzhou for 450 yuan and to Chengdu for 700 yuan.

These prices undercut high-speed rail, which charges 560 yuan for a one-way second-class ticket from Lishui to Zhengzhou East, with a travel time of 6 hours and 42 minutes. A round trip by rail would set you back 1,120 yuan. Similarly, the train to Chengdu costs 1,019 yuan for a one-way second-class seat, taking 12 hours, and 2,038 yuan round-trip.

As a result, choosing to fly not only saves time but also offers a cost-effective alternative compared to rail travel.
