The E Fund Artificial Intelligence ETF (03489) has gained over 2%, extending its winning streak to a third consecutive day. As of the latest update, it was trading 2.21% higher at HKD 13.44, with a turnover of HKD 1.296 million.

On the news front, after the US market closed on August 3, Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR.US) released its second-quarter earnings, reporting revenue of $1.94 billion, a 94.0% year-over-year increase, which exceeded expectations by $130 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.41, surpassing estimates by $0.06. Following sales that significantly beat Wall Street forecasts, the company raised its full-year revenue and profit guidance, specifically describing commercial demand as "unusual." Notably, Palantir stated that the core logic driving its quarterly performance is the "Enterprise AI Sovereignty" concept, which focuses on helping businesses control their own data, model weights, and business logic, rather than relying on large frontier model providers.

The E Fund Artificial Intelligence ETF tracks the FTSE Custom Global AI Select Index, covering computing power leaders like Nvidia and TSMC, as well as application platforms such as Microsoft, Alibaba, and Tencent. It spans the entire industry chain from "chips to cloud services to models to end-user devices." Driven by both the supply shortage in computing power and the accelerating deployment of applications, this ETF is well-positioned to benefit from the AI industry's upward cycle, moving from expectations to actual profitability.
