PSBC Opens Dividend Currency Election for 2025 Final Payout of RMB 0.953 per 10 Shares

07/14

Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) has issued a dividend-currency election notice to its H-shareholders regarding the 2025 final dividend of RMB 0.953 per 10 shares (tax inclusive).

Registered H-shareholders will automatically receive the cash dividend in Hong Kong dollars. Those preferring Renminbi must complete and submit the Dividend Currency Election Form to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services at 17M/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.

For payments converted into Hong Kong dollars, PSBC will apply the average RMB/HKD reference rates published by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System at 11:00 a.m. on the five business days immediately preceding (but excluding) 14 July 2026—the date on which the election form was dispatched.

Shareholders opting for Renminbi should ensure their bank accounts can clear RMB cheques and note that no assurance is given regarding potential handling fees or settlement delays in Hong Kong or elsewhere. If no valid election is received by the deadline, dividends will be paid in Hong Kong dollars by default. Special handwritten instructions on the election form will not be accepted.

The currency-election arrangement follows PSBC’s announcements dated 27 March 2026 and 14 July 2026, which confirmed the dividend amount and outlined the dual-currency payment option for H-shareholders.
