Wednesday marked the first trading day for biotech company Attovia Therapeutics (ATTO.US) on the Nasdaq, with shares closing up 28.82% at $21.90. The IPO was priced at $17 per share. Founded in 2022, the company's core technology is the "ATTOBODY" platform, a biparatopic nanobody-based biotech platform exclusively licensed from Alamar Biosciences (ALMR.US). This platform enables the development of multispecific antibody therapies targeting complex immune targets.
Currently, Attovia has three drug candidates in development. The most advanced asset is ATTO-1310, which has completed Phase I clinical trial dosing in healthy volunteers and patients with chronic pruritus and atopic dermatitis. ATTO-2306 is a bispecific antibody targeting IL-13 and IL-31, aiming for broader efficacy coverage in atopic dermatitis. ATTO-1091 is a trispecific antibody targeting three hot immune targets—TL1A, IL-23, and integrin α4β7—focusing on the large inflammatory bowel disease market.
