China Rare Earth (00769) has announced that the Board of Directors and its Audit Committee received a letter dated December 24, 2025, from Tianjian Deyang CPA Limited (Tianjian Deyang) concerning its resignation as the Company's auditor, effective from December 24, 2025.

Following a recommendation by the Audit Committee, the Board has resolved to appoint Zheng Zheng CPA Limited (Zheng Zheng) as the Company's external auditor, effective January 2, 2026, to fill the vacancy created by Tianjian Deyang's resignation. The appointment will last until the conclusion of the Company's next Annual General Meeting.
