Weiheng Smart Energy's Hong Kong IPO Filing Has Lapsed

Financial industry sources indicate that the prospectus submitted by Weiheng Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Weiheng Smart Energy) for its Hong Kong initial public offering (IPO) has expired. The document, filed on February 9, 2026, reached its six-month validity period and lapsed on August 9, 2026. At the time of filing, Huatai International and CMB International served as the joint sponsors.

According to the earlier prospectus disclosure, Weiheng Smart Energy is a leader in digital and intelligent commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions. Based on data from Frost & Sullivan, for the nine months ended September 30, 2025, the company ranked eighth globally in C&I energy storage system shipments among 900 lithium-ion battery energy storage system integrators in China's C&I sector. Additionally, it secured the third position for overseas C&I energy storage system shipments. The company has consistently adhered to a globalization strategy and is among the first Chinese enterprises to enter the overseas C&I energy storage market.
