Heilongjiang Airport Group released figures on October 8 showing that during the National Day holiday, the group as a whole completed 4,358 aircraft movements, up 4.5% year on year, and handled 634,000 passenger trips, up 4.9% year on year.

On international routes, Harbin Airport guaranteed 150 flight movements during the National Day holiday, up 41.5% year on year, and carried 13,836 passenger trips, up 19.7% year on year.

During this year's combined National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival period, several streams of passenger traffic were highly concentrated, including family visits and returns home, cross-provincial travel, and intra-provincial cultural tourism connecting flights. Load factors on routes from Harbin to popular tourist cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu continued to rise, and multiple trunk routes maintained high-density operations.

During the National Day holiday, Harbin Taiping International Airport kept passenger flows at a high level, completing 3,452 aircraft movements, up 2.1% year on year, and handling 535,000 passenger trips, up 2.9% year on year. The travel peak during the holiday occurred on October 6 and October 7, when an average of more than 510 flights were guaranteed per day and 79,000 passenger trips were carried.

Harbin Airport has been steadily expanding its international and regional route network, maintaining stable operations on routes to Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Blagoveshchensk and Yekaterinburg in Russia, as well as Tokyo in Japan, Seoul in South Korea and Singapore, providing passengers with more outbound travel options.

As the visa-free "circle of friends" continues to expand, inbound and outbound passenger flows have kept climbing. Harbin Airport guaranteed a total of 150 international flight movements during the National Day holiday, up 41.5% year on year, and carried 13,836 passenger trips, up 19.7% year on year.

Among the regional airports under Heilongjiang Airport Group, passenger throughput at Qiqihar Airport, Jiamusi Airport, Heihe Airport, Mohe Airport, Yichun Airport, Daqing Airport, Jixi Airport, Jiagedaqi Airport, Fuyuan Airport and Wudalianchi Airport all showed year-on-year growth. Yichun Airport recorded the most notable increase, completing 74 aircraft movements and handling 7,202 passenger trips during the National Day period, up 115.6% and 112.9% year on year respectively, with all figures reaching record highs.
