Jiangsu Lopal Tech. Group Co., Ltd. (Lopal Tech) has issued an indicative announcement disclosing plans to book asset-impairment provisions that are expected to reduce first-half 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders by between RMB35.66 million and RMB41.29 million.

The company’s preliminary assessment, conducted under China’s Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises No. 8 and related regulatory guidance, identified two main sources of impairment pressure:

1. Accounts receivable: A credit-impairment provision of approximately RMB32.72 million to RMB39.05 million is planned, reflecting a higher receivables balance. 2. Inventories: A write-down of roughly RMB26.42 million to RMB30.59 million is anticipated, mainly due to changes in raw-material market prices.

Lopal Tech also completed goodwill tests for Changzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Zhangjiagang TEEC Automotive Chemicals Co., Ltd., concluding that no impairment indicators currently exist for these asset groups.

The proposed figures have not yet been audited and remain subject to review by the board’s audit committee and the full board. Final amounts will be confirmed in the company’s 2026 interim report. The company cautioned investors that the impairment testing is still in progress and advised careful consideration of related investment risks.
