Ganfeng Lithium (01772) surged over 3% again, reaching HK$55.9 by the time of writing, with a trading volume of HK$103 million. On November 10, the company announced key progress in its joint development project with Lithium Argentina. The Salta Province Mining and Energy Secretariat in Argentina has issued the Environmental Impact Assessment (DIA) approval for the first phase of the merged project.

The project plans to apply for Argentina's Large Investment Incentive Program (Regimen de Incentivo para Grandes Inversiones) in the first half of 2026 to secure government support and fiscal incentives. The merged project is designed with an annual production capacity of approximately 150,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE), to be developed in three phases over a 30-year lifespan.
