The 2027 model year GAC Trumpchi Xiangwang S7 PHEV has officially launched this evening.
The new vehicle is available in four variants, with an official market guidance price range of 149,800 to 199,800 yuan, and a subsidized price after combined government and corporate incentives ranging from 129,800 to 175,800 yuan.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The exterior design of the 2027 Trumpchi Xiangwang S7 PHEV remains largely unchanged.
It retains its dimensions of 4900mm in length, 1950mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm.
The model features hidden door handles and a full-width 'skyline' light bar design.
Key Upgrades and Driver Assistance
A major upgrade for this new model year is the inclusion of a roof-mounted 192-line LiDAR unit.
The vehicle's sensor suite comprises 1 LiDAR, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 11 high-definition cameras.
It is equipped with an NVIDIA Orin-X chip and the Momenta R6 Flywheel large model, enabling support for urban Navigated Driving Assist (NDA).
Intelligent automatic parking is standard across all variants.
Interior and Infotainment
Inside, a new Camel Brown color option has been added.
The cabin features a 15.6-inch 2K floating central control screen paired with an 8.88-inch full-digital instrument cluster, powered by an 8295P chip and the ADiGO 6.0 system.
Additional features include a 27-inch W-HUD head-up display, 50W wireless fast charging, a 17.3-inch 3K roof-mounted entertainment screen, and a 22-speaker Dolby sound system.
Powertrain and Battery
The powertrain has been upgraded to the Star Source PHEV GMC 3.0 Jifeng version.
Its 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power of 118kW.
The front-drive version's electric motor produces up to 200kW, while the all-wheel-drive version has a combined system output of 280kW (200kW front, 80kW rear).
The battery capacity has been increased from 36.3kWh to 38.88kWh.
The CLTC-rated pure electric range is now 255km for the front-drive version (240km for AWD), with a total combined range of 1200km (1084km for AWD).
