According to a research report from Citi, Macau's gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the first 25 days of January reached MOP 17.8 billion, translating to an average daily revenue of approximately MOP 693 million in the preceding week. This figure was about 1% lower than the week of January 12 but still 18% higher than the average daily revenue in January of the previous year.

In terms of segment performance, both VIP rolling volume and mass market gaming revenue increased by about 6% to 8% compared to the previous week. However, the VIP win rate was lower than the level seen in the week of January 19.

The bank maintained its forecast for January's total GGR at MOP 21.5 billion, implying a year-on-year growth of 18%. This projection necessitates an average daily revenue of roughly MOP 617 million over the final six business days of the month.

Concurrently, Citi upheld its combined GGR forecast for January and February at MOP 42 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.
