On 17 July 2026, Virscend Education Company Limited executed an on-market buy-back of 6.80 million ordinary shares, paying a total of HKD 1.40 million. The shares were repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 0.191 to HKD 0.218, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 0.205 per share.
Following the transaction, Virscend Edu’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.22 % to 3.07 billion shares, down from 3.08 billion on 16 July 2026. Treasury shares increased from 10.68 million to 17.48 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 3.09 billion.
The repurchase was made under the 10 % general mandate approved on 23 January 2026, which authorises buy-backs of up to 308.88 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 17.48 million shares, equivalent to 0.57 % of the company’s issued shares at the time the mandate was granted.
Pursuant to Hong Kong Listing Rules, Virscend Edu is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 16 August 2026.
