In a recent episode of the interview series "Unfulfilled Promises," KNOWLEDGE ATLAS AI CEO Zhang Peng, during a conversation with Zhang Xiaojun, commented on Minimax's Yan Junjie, stating that he has a clear direction and is heading straight for commercialization.

Zhang Peng mentioned that he encountered Minimax's Yan Junjie at the opening ceremony of the 2024 WSC, where they discussed various matters. He described Yan as a very intelligent individual who, first and foremost, has identified the correct direction and, secondly, has found the right market. Building on this foundation, Yan possesses a very clear understanding of his own objectives.

"I believe he is likely heading directly towards the goal of commercialization," Zhang noted. Many of the initiatives Yan is involved in, whether it's the product Talkie from MiniMax, or developments in voice technology and multimodal capabilities, are all progressing in that direction—focusing on consumption, entertainment, spiritual value, emotional value, and similar areas.
