On 20 October 2025, Tai Ping Carpets International Limited (Stock Code: 146) announced a proposal to elect Mr. Lung Chi Sing Alex as an Executive Director. The appointment, subject to shareholder approval, is scheduled for consideration at the forthcoming annual general meeting on 5 December 2025.

Mr. Lung, aged 54, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary, and Authorised Representative of Tai Ping Carpets International Limited, as well as a director of several of its subsidiaries. He joined the company in 2016 following senior finance roles at Mindray Medical International Limited from 2009 to 2016, ASAT Holdings Limited, and Clipsal Asia Holdings Limited. He spent 10 years at KPMG in auditing, corporate finance, and management consulting. Mr. Lung is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Imperial College London.

If elected, Mr. Lung will not be appointed for a specific term but will be subject to retirement by rotation at least once every three years and re-election according to the company’s bye-laws. His current annual remuneration is HK$3,000,000, supplemented by a discretionary bonus, based on both individual and company performance, and subject to periodic review by the board. Mr. Lung does not hold any interests in the shares of the company and has no relationships with any directors, senior management, substantial shareholders, or controlling shareholders of Tai Ping Carpets International Limited.
