On September 17, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo officially commenced in Nanning, Guangxi. ABC (Agricultural Bank Of China Limited) made a prominent appearance at the "Financial Services" exhibition zone under the theme "Digital Intelligence Finance, Inclusive Growth for All."

During the expo, ABC officially launched its digital RMB cross-border trade financing product. This innovative offering leverages the foundational capabilities of digital RMB to provide foreign trade enterprises with a comprehensive cross-border financial solution encompassing digital RMB accounts, settlement, and financing. The bank has already successfully processed Guangxi's first digital RMB import documentary bill business for Guangxi Huike Intelligent Display Co., Ltd.

The expo also featured a full-process control service solution for border trade settlement using digital RMB smart contracts. This solution applies digital RMB smart contract technology to the border residents' mutual trade settlement scenario, enabling full-process traceability and controllability of border trade fund settlements, effectively enhancing the quality and efficiency of border trade settlement. Currently, ABC's Dongxing Sub-branch in Fangchenggang, Guangxi, has already completed its first transaction, providing a replicable and scalable digital finance practice model for Guangxi's high-level development as an ASEAN-oriented financial open portal.
