Premarket Movers | Cidara Therapeutics Surges 67%; Quantum Shares Slide With Rigetti Computing Down Nearly 6%; Applied Digital, Opendoor Fall 4% Each

Cidara Therapeutics shares rose 67% in premarket trading. Merck is closing in on a deal to buy Cidara Therapeutics in a deal valuing the biotechnology company at a premium to its $3.3 billion market capitalization, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

Figure Technology Solutions shares climbed over 5% in premarket trading after the blockchain-based lender turned in Q3 revenue that easily beat the Wall Street consensus, marking its first quarter as a public company.

Q3 adjusted net revenue of $156.4M, exceeding the $119.4M average analyst estimate, advanced 42% from the year-earlier period. Net income of $90M surged 227% Y/Y.

Applied Digital stock fell 4% in premarket trading after announcing the pricing of a $2.35 billion offering of 9.250% senior secured notes due 2030, issued at 97% of face value.

Quantum shares slid in premarket trading. Rigetti Computing down nearly 6%; SEALSQ, D-Wave Quantum down over 4%; Quantum Computing down over 3%.

Opendoor Technologies Inc shares fell over 4% in premarket trading after plunging 8% on Thursday, pausing a recent rally as negative sentiment ripples through the property technology sector. The pullback coincides with a disappointing third-quarter earnings report from peer Better Home & Finance, which missed analyst estimates. The two companies are often linked in investor sentiment; hedge fund manager Eric Jackson recently touted both as high-potential growth plays.
