Galaxy Macau™ announced on October 15 that it has renewed its three-year strategic partnership agreement with DAMAI ENT (01060) and Macau Pass. This collaboration signifies a further enhancement of resources and strengths among the three parties, aiming to upgrade the cultural entertainment industry in Macau and present a more diverse and high-quality lineup of live and online performances in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
According to the agreement, over the next three years, the parties will continue to host a variety of cultural events in Macau, including movies, concerts, stage plays, musicals, award ceremonies, immersive performances, interactive dramas, Livehouse events, sports, and exhibitions. They will also establish comprehensive cooperation in promotion, marketing, and ticketing systems, while attracting talents from the cultural and entertainment industry to Macau.
The scope of collaboration will extend beyond Macau, actively exploring partnerships for projects in non-Macau venues to create a performing arts hub in the Greater Bay Area. Additionally, the three parties will deepen their cooperation in membership systems, jointly promoting cross-platform membership activities and exclusive benefits to enhance the member experience.
In terms of ticketing, DAMAI ENT will continue to advance comprehensive cooperation with Galaxy Macau on ticketing systems and assist Macau Pass in upgrading the technical and hardware aspects of its ticketing system, aiming to provide audiences with a more convenient and seamless ticket purchasing experience. Collaborative projects will receive more significant promotion across the three platforms, further increasing the visibility of performance activities.
Previously, Galaxy Macau and DAMAI ENT had engaged in multiple in-depth collaborations regarding ticketing systems and content introduction. DAMAI ENT's intelligent management platform for the performance industry, MAIZUO, is set to launch internationally in 2024, with its first international ticketing system being delivered for use at Galaxy Macau in the same year. This system supports instantaneous high-traffic ticket sales for major popular performances and includes multiple security features such as high DDoS protection and anti-bot measures, providing users with a more convenient, smooth, and stable ticket purchasing experience.
Taking advantage of this strategic collaboration, Galaxy Macau has successfully introduced top-tier performances and large-scale events from mainland China to Macau, including concerts by groups such as TFBoys and Wang Yuan, as well as events like "Drama is Beautiful Concert" and "Zhen Huan's Love Continues - The Zhen Huan's Evening Party," along with multiple stand-up comedy shows.
