Two major solar power projects in Qinglong County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, have recently been connected to the grid and commenced power generation. The two stations are the 160MW Bihen Solar Farm and the 200MW Zhongdian Pu'an Qinglong Guangzhao Integrated Wind-Solar-Thermal-Storage Agricultural Solar Farm. Together, they inject clean energy into the local effort to build a multi-energy complementary system combining wind, solar, hydro, thermal, and storage resources.
The 160MW Bihen Solar Farm, with a total investment of 740 million yuan, is currently the largest centralized photovoltaic station in Qinglong County. It is expected to generate an average of 170 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, saving approximately 21,000 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 169,500 tonnes per year. The project utilizes a 220kV transmission line for joint delivery, linking with the Pu'an power plant to access the China Southern Power Grid, enabling coordinated dispatch of multiple power sources. During construction, the Xingyi Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid opened a green channel for grid connection and supported the necessary transmission infrastructure to ensure stable clean energy output.
The 200MW Zhongdian Pu'an Qinglong Guangzhao Integrated Wind-Solar-Thermal-Storage Agricultural Solar Farm, with a total investment of 960 million yuan, covers approximately 3,000 mu (about 200 hectares). It is projected to generate an average of 210 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 208,000 tonnes per year. The project adopts a stereo "solar plus agriculture" development model, with photovoltaic panels installed above for power generation and characteristic crop cultivation carried out underneath, thereby improving the utilization efficiency of mountainous land resources.
