United Parks & Resorts Inc. (PRKS) experienced a sharp decline of 5.15% in pre-market trading following the release of its fourth-quarter and fiscal 2025 financial results.

The theme park operator reported earnings and revenue that fell short of analyst expectations. For Q4, the company posted an EPS of $0.28, significantly below the FactSet consensus estimate of $0.55. Revenue came in at $373.5 million, slightly missing the estimate of $376.5 million. Furthermore, Adjusted EBITDA of $115.2 million missed the forecast of $128.2 million. Net income for the quarter plummeted 46% year-over-year to $15.1 million.

Management stated that the fiscal 2025 results did not meet expectations, attributing the underperformance to negative international tourism trends, a decline in international visitation, and volatile weather during certain peak visitation periods. The company also acknowledged less than optimal cost management. Despite these challenges, United Parks & Resorts highlighted record in-park per capita spending and outlined initiatives for 2026 aimed at driving attendance and improving financial performance.
