Technology media VideoCardz suggests that while this appears to be a straightforward price reduction, the underlying reason may be the appreciation of the euro against the US dollar, with the EUR/USD exchange rate rising nearly 12% over the past six months.
Specifically, on February 28th this year, 1 euro (approximately 8.4 yuan at current exchange rates) could be exchanged for 1.04 US dollars (approximately 7.5 yuan at current exchange rates), while yesterday, 1 euro (approximately 8.4 yuan at current exchange rates) could be exchanged for 1.17 US dollars (approximately 8.4 yuan at current exchange rates).
