The Hour Glass (AGS.SI) shares are soaring 3.66% in intraday trading on Monday, following the release of the luxury watch retailer's strong second-half financial results.
The company reported a 39% increase in net profit to S$103.8 million for the period ended March 31, compared to S$74.4 million a year earlier. Revenue also showed robust growth, rising 16% year-on-year to S$722.8 million from S$622.6 million.
The better-than-expected earnings performance has boosted investor confidence in the company's growth trajectory and sales momentum, driving buying interest in the stock during the trading session.
