NEXTEER (01316) rose nearly 4%, gaining 3.81% to HKD 7.09 by the time of writing, with a turnover of HKD 11.51 million.
According to a research report, R-EPS for models such as Li Auto's i6 and i8, Zeekr 9X, and Chery Jietu G700 entered mass production in Q3 2025. In the first three quarters of 2025, the Asia-Pacific region contributed 49% of the order value, with full-year orders expected to reach $5 billion. The company anticipates securing another steer-by-wire project in Q4 2025.
NEXTEER has previously secured a steer-by-wire order from a global EV leader, supporting L4 autonomous driving and mobility-as-a-service. Its newly launched direct-drive steering feel simulator offers enhanced simulation while accommodating compact, lightweight designs for both low and high mounting positions, benefiting both consumers and automakers.
In the first half of the year, NEXTEER secured $1.5 billion in new orders, including domestic and overseas business from Chinese automakers, as well as dual-pinion EPS and rear-wheel steering orders from European OEMs. The company reaffirmed its full-year $5 billion order target.
In August, NEXTEER launched its Motion IQ software suite, providing advanced vehicle dynamics features such as silent steering, hands-off detection, and road surface sensing. The suite serves as both a predictive diagnostics tool and a model-based software development platform, accelerating time-to-market and reducing costs. More steer-by-wire-related projects are expected in the second half of the year.
