To celebrate the 30th anniversary of its signature community initiative, General Mills has announced a reunion of the original cast from the classic school sitcom Saved by the Bell.

The collaboration will produce a series of nostalgic digital advertisements and social media content.

The campaign, themed "From Classroom to Kitchen Table," honors the program's impact since its 1996 launch, which has provided over $10 billion in cash support to K-12 schools nationwide through the collection of product proofs-of-purchase.

The creative effort connects iconic scenes from the show with the digital evolution of Box Tops, highlighting the program's shift from clipping physical box tops to the current convenient method of scanning receipts via a mobile app to trigger donations.

The Chief Marketing Officer at General Mills stated that Box Tops is a vital way for the company to give back to communities, and partnering with the beloved sitcom helps evoke shared memories of the program across multiple generations of consumers.

Cast members from Saved by the Bell expressed their honor in participating in the meaningful anniversary campaign and shared their personal perspectives on supporting education.

The complete advertisement series is scheduled to premiere next month on the General Mills website and major video platforms.
