International media are highlighting China's ambitious blueprint to accelerate the growth of its artificial intelligence sector.

A recent report from Russia's newspaper, as featured in global news summaries, has spotlighted Beijing's latest initiative. The strategy focuses on cultivating a new wave of dynamic companies, including "little giants," "gazelles," and "unicorns," within the AI landscape.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released its AI Small Business Entrepreneurship Support Plan (2026-2028). This document outlines a comprehensive framework to nurture AI-driven small and medium-sized enterprises. The program is designed to offer crucial backing in computing power, technological development, and financing access to support these ventures.

According to the plan, within a three-year period, China intends to incubate over 10,000 new tech-focused and innovative SMEs. Furthermore, the country aims to see its number of specialized "little giant" firms surpass 2,000. The initiative is also set to catalyze the emergence of a significant number of high-growth "gazelle" companies and industry-disrupting "unicorns."
