On February 13, the third "Village BA" basketball tournament commenced in Chengyuan Township, Zhenghe County, Nanping City, Fujian Province. Named the "Five Years of Safe Journey with Quning Railway" Cup, the event attracted 24 teams and over 270 athletes from across the county. The competition was organized to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the Quning Railway’s opening, incorporating local cultural elements and offering public-benefit cultural and tourism activities on-site. Select matches were livestreamed online, aiming to enrich rural cultural life and promote local tourism through sports.
