On August 1st, WeChat rolled out several functional updates, with the "WeChat Payment Lost Item Reminder" feature drawing significant attention. When users leave items behind after making purchases at merchant locations, businesses can notify customers through WeChat Pay customer service. Users will receive reminder messages containing transaction details and can contact merchants through convenient buttons. Currently, only select merchants have activated this service, with customer service assisting non-participating merchants in notifying users.

Additionally, QQ and WeChat balances now support bidirectional transfers. Users must upgrade QQ to version 9.2.5 to access this feature. The transfers are fee-free and only available between accounts with matching real-name authentication information.

WeChat withdrawal fees have also been adjusted, with the minimum service fee per transaction reduced from 0.1 yuan to 0.01 yuan. When the change balance is less than or equal to 0.01 yuan, withdrawals incur no service fees.

The WeChat interface's upper-right corner plus button now includes hidden features such as "Single-person Group Creation" and "Life Assistant," allowing users to create categorized file assistants or access information services.
