Shangri-La Hotel Public Company Limited (SHANG) reported that net profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended Dec, 31 2025 fell 35.1% year-on-year to 240.91 million.

The company’s standalone profit after tax declined 26.0% to 457.02 million, mainly due to reduced contributions from its Bangkok and Chiang Mai properties. Revenue from hotel operations at Shangri-La Bangkok contracted by 198.46 million on softer room, food-and-beverage and MICE demand, pushing the unit’s pre-tax profit down 188.53 million to 534.07 million. Shangri-La Chiang Mai’s pre-tax profit slipped 11.74 million to 36.18 million as food-and-beverage and other income weakened.

Group results were further weighed by a 117.40 million impairment on loans to associated companies, although this was smaller than the 300.65 million charge booked a year earlier. Exchange losses of 77.20 million, compared with a 65.89 million gain in 2024, also affected the bottom line.

Total consolidated revenue from hotel operations came in at 2.13 billion for 2025, down from 2.33 billion the previous year. Group operating profit dropped to 304.12 million, while income-tax expense eased to 125.06 million from 183.55 million in 2024.

Looking ahead, the board has proposed a final dividend of 0.50 per share, amounting to 65 million, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting scheduled for Apr, 2026.
