HMVOD Video (08103) has announced the execution of a settlement agreement with the petitioner, dated January 29, 2026. According to the agreement, the company is required to pay the petitioner a sum of HK$6.8738 million to fully and finally settle any and all current or potential claims or litigation rights the petitioner may have against the company related to the matters outlined in the petition. Upon payment of the settlement amount, the petitioner must ensure that the company is released from further performance obligations under the judgment and waive all claims that have been, could be, or might be brought against the company, except those related to the enforcement of the settlement agreement. As of the announcement date, the settlement amount has been paid in full. On February 13, 2026, the petitioner and the company jointly signed and submitted a consent summons to the High Court to, among other things, terminate and withdraw the petition and the appeal against the judgment.
