Fuel Prices Set to Shift Tomorrow Night

Drivers should prepare for a potential increase at the pump as the 18th fuel price adjustment of the year is scheduled for 24:00 this Friday, September 11th. While the last adjustment in late August saw gasoline prices rise by nearly 0.3 yuan per liter, the cumulative effect over the past three months has still resulted in a significant drop of about 0.7 yuan per liter. However, this upcoming change could reverse that trend significantly.

Due to a sharp surge in international crude oil prices recently, the crude oil change rate has climbed to 5.07%. Projections indicate that this adjustment will increase fuel prices by an estimated 260 yuan per ton. When converted to a per-liter basis, this translates to a rise of approximately 0.20 yuan to 0.24 yuan for both gasoline and diesel. It is important to note that these figures are only predictive estimates from institutional calculations, and the final adjustment will be officially announced.

To help drivers manage potential increased costs, we have compiled the annual fuel price adjustment calendar as well as several practical fuel-saving tips for your reference.
