Guantao County's Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park Enhances Its Services

Guantao County has reported significant progress in its cross-border e-commerce sector, with 90 cross-border stores, 32 business entities, and sales of nearly 92.158 million yuan in the first half of this year.

Leveraging opportunities in digital trade, the county is transitioning from scattered online retail operations to a more centralized and clustered model, addressing the development challenges faced by individual operators.

The renovation and upgrade of the Jinfeng Street Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park is now in its final stages. This 6,000 square meter one-stop comprehensive incubation platform is scheduled to officially launch before National Day.

Focusing on live-streaming e-commerce and cross-border trade, the park will implement a dual-track development model that encourages returning entrepreneurs to lead and nurtures local newcomers. It aims to concentrate e-commerce resources through improved hardware, comprehensive support services, and a tiered incubation system, fostering a localized and scaled e-commerce cluster to sustain the county's digital economy growth.

The park benefits from established county-level policies like the "One Product, One Live Stream" industrial support program and human resources entrepreneurship subsidies, which help address local e-commerce hardware gaps. The facility includes over 100 functional rooms, 32 standardized live-streaming studios, and 71 private offices, capable of accommodating more than 70 e-commerce entities simultaneously. It also features a 200-person multi-purpose conference hall, standard training classrooms, and shared meeting rooms, serving both cross-border investment promotion events and the daily live-streaming and business negotiation needs of startup teams.

To reduce barriers, the park offers a "zero-cost entrepreneurship" initiative, providing free office and studio space to all returning enterprises and local startup teams. Participants can also access regular, systematic hands-on training. The park's in-house team of designers, editors, and customer service staff, along with over 300 domestic and international trademarks, has established mature cross-border operations and partnerships with major platforms like Alibaba International Station, Amazon, and OZON. For stable, high-growth startups, the park offers equity investment in exchange for shared revenue and market expansion, creating a "veterans mentoring newcomers" collaborative growth path.

Looking ahead, Guantao County plans to use the cross-border e-commerce industrial park as a springboard to further implement its "Seven Cross-Border Policies" and deepen one-on-one business support. It will continue to expand into key overseas markets like Russia, strengthen both the returning entrepreneur and local talent pipelines, and activate the county's opening-up through digital foreign trade, enabling more local products to reach global markets.
