China Coal Energy's stock price surged 5.07% during intraday trading on Tuesday, showing significant upward momentum in the market session.
The rally was primarily driven by the company's recently released first-quarter earnings report. Although revenue and net profit showed year-on-year declines, the market focused on a standout metric: net cash flow from operating activities reached RMB 5.747 billion, surging 1,501.2% compared to the same period last year. The dramatic cash flow improvement was mainly attributed to a significant reduction in working capital occupation on a year-on-year basis.
