On the news front, on July 25, the State Administration for Market Regulation legally imposed a penalty on Trip.com Group Limited for abusing its market dominance to implement monopolistic practices, with fines and confiscations totaling 5.179 billion yuan. Trip.com stated that it sincerely accepts the decision and will take corrective measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to comply with the requirements of the ruling. The company will establish a robust long-term governance mechanism to promote the sustainable development of the tourism industry.

CITIC Securities pointed out that the regulatory pressure faced by OTA giants is expected to gradually ease. In the coming years, the company is still likely to play a significant empowering role in areas such as inbound tourism and travel AI. Along with inbound and outbound travel demand and the optimization of domestic tourism supply, the current valuation position offers flexibility.

China Merchants Securities added that the company's long-term competitiveness remains outstanding, and it is optimistic about the continued valuation recovery and long-term performance growth certainty.
