Greentown Service Group Co. Ltd. disclosed two capital-market transactions dated 31 August 2026 that marginally reduced its outstanding ordinary shares while lifting treasury holdings.
The company issued 212,025 new shares to employees exercising options granted under the share option scheme adopted on 16 June 2023. The shares were allotted at a volume-weighted price of HKD 3.494, expanding issued share capital by 0.0068%.
On the same day the group repurchased 930,000 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 4.165 to HKD 4.24, for a total consideration of HKD 3.91 million. The shares were retained as treasury stock.
After netting the two movements, outstanding shares (excluding treasury) fell by 717,975 to 3,119.07 million, representing a 0.023% contraction from the previous reporting balance on 28 August 2026. Treasury holdings increased to 37.27 million shares.
The buy-back was executed under the repurchase mandate approved on 18 June 2026, which authorises up to 313.14 million shares. Including this latest transaction, 14.74 million shares—0.47% of the issuer’s share capital on the mandate date—have been repurchased to date.
In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Greentown Service is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring shares for 30 days following the 31 August 2026 repurchase, setting a moratorium through 30 September 2026.
