According to data released by the Ministry of Commerce on August 25, China's overseas contracted engineering projects generated a completed business turnover of 701.28 billion yuan between January and July 2026, marking a 7.4% year-on-year increase. In U.S. dollar terms, this figure reached 101.97 billion, reflecting a growth of 12.1%.

Newly signed contract values during the same period totaled 1.00876 trillion yuan, a decrease of 6% compared to the previous year. When converted to U.S. dollars, the amount stood at 146.68 billion, showing a decline of 1.9%.
