BANKCOMM Offers Currency Choice for 2025 Final Dividend of RMB1.684 per 10 Shares; Election Deadline Set for 28 July 2026

Bulletin Express
07/13

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. (BANKCOMM) has opened the currency election process for its 2025 final cash dividend of RMB1.684 per 10 shares, tax-inclusive. Registered H-shareholders will automatically receive the payout in Hong Kong dollars unless they submit a completed Dividend Currency Election Form to receive the distribution in Renminbi.

H-share investors opting for Renminbi must lodge the signed form with the bank’s registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited, by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the dividend being paid in Hong Kong dollars.

The Hong Kong dollar equivalent of the dividend will be calculated using the average RMB/HKD reference rates published by China Money at 11:00 a.m. over the five business days preceding the commencement of the currency-election period (excluding the commencement date). Shareholders selecting RMB are advised to ensure their bank accounts can clear RMB cheques; the bank does not guarantee fee-free or delay-free settlement of such cheques in Hong Kong or overseas.

The currency option follows BANKCOMM’s announcements on 27 March, 26 June and 13 July 2026, which confirmed the dividend amount, the currency election right for H-shareholders—including partial elections by HKSCC Nominees Limited—and the foreign-exchange methodology. The dividend represents the bank’s distribution for the 2025 financial year, maintaining its policy of providing shareholders with flexible payment choices.
