Hong Kong – 21 August 2026 – Tungtex (Holdings) Company Limited reported near-unanimous shareholder support at its 2026 Annual General Meeting, with every one of the seven ordinary resolutions securing at least 98% of votes cast.

Resolutions 1–5, covering receipt of the FY 2025/26 audited financial statements, re-election of three directors, authorisation of directors’ remuneration, and re-appointment of D & Partners CPA Limited as auditor, each drew 176.32 million votes in favour, equating to 99.99% of ballots. Dissenting votes were limited to just 4,020 shares in each case.

Two capital-management mandates also received solid endorsement. Resolution 6, authorising the Board to issue, allot and deal with new shares up to 20% of issued share capital, attracted 173.18 million votes for (98.22%) and 3.14 million votes against (1.78%). Resolution 7, extending this issuance mandate by the amount of any shares bought back, passed with the same 98.22% approval.

Shareholders likewise green-lighted a 10% share-buy-back mandate under Resolution 5, again with 99.99% support.

Voting was conducted by poll, overseen by scrutineer Tricor Investor Services Limited. The entire Board attended in person. As of the meeting date, Tungtex had 451.07 million shares in issue, all of which were eligible to vote; there were no treasury shares and no shareholders were required to abstain under Hong Kong Listing Rules.
