MEIDONG AUTO (01268) announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of RMB 10.135 billion, down 4.9% year-over-year. Gross profit reached approximately RMB 476 million, declining 41.0% compared to the same period last year.

The company recorded a net loss attributable to equity shareholders of approximately RMB 815 million, representing a 29.17-fold expansion from the previous year. Loss per share stood at 60.51 cents.

According to the announcement, the increased loss was primarily driven by margin compression in new passenger vehicle sales and impairment charges related to goodwill and dealer rights.
